Car Locks and Unlocks while driving

I have a 2018 Chevy suburban and for the past two months, periodically the Doors will lock and unlock while driving. When it happens, the transmission slips, as though the truck is in neutral. Turning the Engine off fixes the problem until it happens again. I took it to the dealer, and they could not identify an electrical problem. The passenger side Runningboard was recently damaged and replaced. It seems that there may be some correlation between opening and closing the passenger side rear door, and the locking problem happening. It will go three or four days without happening, and then happens in succession. Any help would be appreciated. There was a previous postWith a similar problem from fswarner but no resolution.

These forums are for the Chevy HHR.

I would suggest that you join a forum for the Chevrolet Suburban.

X2 ^^^^^, but aside from that, a loose ground wire or broken wire causing an intermittent connection, low battery voltage, the door lock control module damaged, I do not know where it is in a 2018 Suburban. I googled it but only GM truck stuff showed up.
