If the dark green/ white wire isn't connected to any thing then could that be an issue since it is for communication to the computer

 

I'm pretty sure it only interrogates the security chip and turns the power on; not needed for after market. But if you somehow zapped it or something, I don't know.

 

Today I had a guy over and we used a power probe and went over everything. We were able to get the car to start remotely but I would die after 5 to 10 seconds and while it was running no gauges would work. Any ideas
