CD player eject.
Some time ago I had a CD in the player of my 2010 HHR, and had problems ejecting it. I pressed some buttons and voila out comes the CD. Well I have the same problem now and the damn thing won't eject. Does anyone out there have the magic answer:
It sounds like your head unit has "lost its marbles", sometimes the following trick will restore proper function, sometimes not.
Pull fuse 23 from the BCM/Fuse panel inside the vehicle. Wait 30 seconds and put it back in.
The panel is located on the passenger side of the center stack.
If your head unit is still refusing to eject the CD, a trip to the dealer may be in order.
One question, is this a factory made CD, or a "homebrew"? There have been problems with homebrew CD's getting hung up due to thickness variations or sticky labels becoming unstuck.

As high tech as they may be, disconnecting the Negative battery cable can cure some ills.
More accurately, after you reset by disconnecting the battery or clear the codes with a scanner, the I/M readininess monitors will come up as 'inconclusive' and will need to be reset in order to pass a smog test. This generally takes a so called 'drive cycle'.
Mine actually comes up as "not ready for I/M". And in my situation a "drive cycle" is next to impossible, the EVAP test is a B**** to get to run. But, I don't need smog on this side of the river. Just wanted to get that out there.
Same thing. On the actual test, not on the coder reader, some of them will read 'not ready for I/M' while others will actually show the ones that aren't ready as 'INC'. I have a local driving loop which includes multiple types of driving that pretty much never fails.
