it comes on randomly but once the engine is cycled off and on again it resets. I'm not to worried about it. I'm pleased it just wasn't pulling up any major TCS codes

If I forget to put my abs harness back in the holder by the front strut, the harness will vibrate and I get the code. I don’t let that slip my mind , and use a tie wrap to secure the harness connection to the bracket.

Yep. If it escalates and gets too annoying, you thoroughly examine the wires and connectors. These are old cars. The wires can be corroded inside of insulation that looks fine. Less likely to be the sensor itself, but possible. I but sometime replacing the hub fixes it only because a bad connector was inadvertently fixed.

My P0442 is caused by the vent lines on top of the tank.
It mostly occurs above 3/4 full or after a temperature shift of more than 30 degrees.
I just reset it and go on my way.

Here are the conditions for running P0442, it runs AFTER the engine is turned off.

And this is the test:

Been a number of days and no further codes thrown via cel.....but....just turned it into the shop and going g to have the timing chain and all applicable parts put in. I'm tired of stressing on the what if's of not getting it done. Might as well with the mileage of 131k and be done with it. Got to have this thing right for my drive from California to Texas in a week and a half to see my daughter for 1st time in many years.
