I got the code yesterday and now the gas mileage is pretty bad. I called the dealer and they said it might not be under warranty. What BS! Car has 56k, how can that not be under the powertrain warranty?

I had it. It seems that is fuel lean mixture. I rid this code changing the #2 & #3 fuel injectors... if you want to throw away your money (as I did), use tons of fuel additives.

 

Well, I did just replace a dirty air filter, then filled up on gas. I got the light about 60 miles later.

Just this morning the light went off.

Funny thing is, our remote start did not work, now that the light went off, the remote start works again. Oh well, fingers crossed!

 

As long as there is a CEL showing, the remote start will not work. Until the code is cleared the ECM will not allow remote start.

That is only one of many reasons that the remote start will not work.

 

The remote start works now. It worked as soon as the CEL light went off.
