Ok brand new battery installed but still no change. Unlocks first press then won’t do anything after that for a while. Any other suggestions? Thanks again!

You nailed it!! Fixed. Cleaned the contacts and added a little piece of foil on top of them! Thank you everyone!! 😃

A prettier solution is a new keypad and case for less than $5 on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...acat=0&_sop=15

I have seen them at NAPA and other big box parts stores.
