My check engine light came on today. Car has 32xxx miles on it. Seems to idle a little rough, but runs OK while driving. The weird part is, the remote start quit working at the same time. Is there anyway these could be related? I wouldn't think so but way to much of a coincidence. What ya think?

 

If the eng. light is on remote start will not work. Go to a auto parts place and they will CK code for free and tell you what system is giving the code

 

Really. OK, thanks for the info. I got a mechanic buddy at a dealership so I'll get the light checked out, just thought it weird about the remote start. Thanks again!
