2007 HHR Ls, 14,000kms
My check engine light had been on for 3 weeks and 3 tank fill-up, it did not go away. At the dealership, they found a corroded wire or N26606 error code. It has to do with a corroded wire at the fuel tank circuit.
There are so many codes I do not know which one is good ( wire corroded at conn C401 ).
Anyhow, my car has not been thru its first winter yet and I have a corroded wire....not too promising . I asked the shop manager how come so soon, He said '' well you know the salt and calcium they put on the roads..'' well its there for everybody else but not that many corrode so early...
I hope this may help one of you if this is a well known problem...
