Sometimes the battery will need to be disconnected for at least 30 mins.

Is this just to clear the codes or will this resolve the issue?

That's just for the code..

I'd start testing the fuse #29 location. Like I previously posted.

You read my mind. I had disconnected the battery when I was at AutoZone. I remember someone on the thread saying something about it. When we retested, we still got the same codes (unbelieveably enough). If it is a wiring problem, where would I start?
Physically touch every connector you can get to, to make sure they are plugged in and no frayed wires. Check especially the end of the engine harness that plugs into the ECM (under the Darth Vader thing in front of the fuse box). It really sounds to me like either somebody knocked something loose, or a piece of the harness got rubbed or heated, since the HO2 sensors and the throttle position sensor only have that in common.

After that it is basically using a tester to check for continuity for each wire. Sorry.

While your on the subject of scanners, can a keyless remote be programmed with a OBD II scanner? Orrr, can one do it themselves somehow without taking it to the dealer for 30 bucks?

Some locksmiths can do it, dealer can do it. Tech2 is basically the only way ($1500 +).

Try more than twice that price. When I looked at one a couple years ago, it was $3500+. Apparently it's even more nowdays:

AND that price does not even include the Candi (CAN) module that will be needed for our vehicles. An extra $735 at the bottom of the page.

However, a search for Tech2 on Google brought up some interesting hits for 3-400 dollars at a China based web site.

I thought about adding the extra 0, which would include the required subscription to the software, but, I figured the + would be scary enough.

Hey donbrew, thanks for the advice. I'll be checking that out this weekend.
