Chevy mgr TSB?

What I do know
1. thread on tsbs refer to lower grill mod for 2008 back
2. my 2011 has no lower grill
3. my chevy dealer says the tsb 08-06-02-001 doesn't apply to a 2011
4. I can buy and install one myself

What I don't know
1. Is there a tsb for 2011 for a lower grill mod
2. Are 2011's supposed to come with a lower grill installed?

Can't give you an answer on the 2011 availability.

The "grill" that is covered by the TSB is, essentially, a joke. From comments on this forum, it is a cheap piece of plastic that fits over the lower radiator/condenser and affords minimal protection. You are better off, IMO, to do a self install of the "gutter guard" mod. Many owners, including myself, have done this.....and are very satisfied. In provides much better protection. You can also go to the aftermarket, but the cost is much higher. The gutter guard will cost you, maybe $5.00 and a little labor. There is a thread(s) on this subject if you do a search.

I agree with Snoopy, my 08 has the el cheap-o plastic cover on the lower condenser & rad. from factory.
So I added a Gutter-Guard (Home Depot) grille to mine also..
