Question Clear CEL code

I was looking at the fuse box under the hood and saw that fuse #42 was labeled ECM. Is it possible that removing this fuse for a few seconds could clear the ECL code. If it would, it would be a lot easier than removing a battery cable.
Thanks

Should not hurt anything, try it. Add to the knowledge base, please.

That works on the the old 'ALDL' GM cars from the 80s and 90s like my El Camino.....never tried it on an OBD2 vehicle.
