That's a bit of an unfair prejudgement, IMO. I don't believe you know anything of that members personal life. The HHR could be a second, third or fourth vehicle and just bought it for fun. Maybe he collects timepieces (I do) and has a collection of different watches (I do)......including the Atomic Clock watch (which I also have) mentioned by the other member.

But by his Avatar, he is in So cal. By my experience, a lot of people are unjustifiably flamboyant there.

Yep, ten months of winter and two months of damn poor dog sledding, but if you really want to see what it’s like feast your eyes on our car show.

careful some people are really envious of those, like us, who have prepared appropriately to retire in a comfortable life.

 

I'm envious! I've only started to work and would like to put in a solid 20 years and then call it quits. I hope to make some smart investments, wise decisions and then enjoy the mature part of my life.

 

I really do wish you luck. You will need to plan approriately for the age you wish to retire.

I said, when I was 26, that I would retire when I am 55 and made plans for that age. I was also very lucky. When GM in their infinite wisdom decided to move me and my group, back to Michigan, I said show me the numbers and I will probably retire now. My Director tried for 7 months without success (because the retirement I was requesting was unheard of at that time). 5 Months from my 56th birthday it was approved with the provision (because of projects that I was envolved in) I would not leave until the end of the year.

It's been a good life.
