Thanks ramsey, My mechanic is ordering the part for me. I am still on the fence on whether Ill doing or not. Finding an hour and a half of time out off my day is difficult. I work opposite shifts as my future wife, so we can take turns watching our girls. But it would save me like $50 in labor.

Well my mechanic also put on more rugged, greasable links. So hopefully, this wont happen again.

15,000 more miles down, and the clunk is back! Will be replacing the drivers side front sway bar end link this time.....wish I was in the position to trade this thing in on something different.

Did you use the inferior GM parts, or proper aftermarket ones?

clunk

I had the moog sway bar links put on my HHR and the clunk went away for maybe 2 days now it is back. It sound like the front end is going to fall apart on bumps at low speeds.next is the inner sway bar links and the struts

End links replaced twice, intermediate shaft replaced twice, steering column replaced once, all under warranty. Front end rattles after warranty expired, paper trail for repairs. "Sorry" says the stealership, "they all do that". So I guess that makes it right. 63,000 miles and rattle'n along.
