all exhaust pieces were checked for tightening and none needed and my cv joints are fine as well

 

Not sure if this is the same issue I had or not, but I had my engine replaced back in January. The mechanics that did it, did a piss poor job and my carriage only had 2 of the 4 bolts that it needed. I ended up having the same type of clunking when shifting gears, anytime that there was a shift of power. The new mechanics said I was probably a day away from my motor falling out while driving. Not sure if this is the same issue you or having, but thought I would pass it along.

 

i never had my engine taken out of the vehicle so i doubt thats the issue...unless they lowered it out when they had to fix the intake manifold since its a tight fit to get in/out
