I just got the error code for my 2010 SS and noticed sometimes my throttle sticks and cruise doesn't work. I wonder if it's actually the sensor or the harness itself. I've noticed when its acting up sometimes my volume controls on my wheel don't work properly either. sometimes when I push up the volume goes down instead...

Sounds more like a loose ground wire or a dying battery, the cruise won't work with a CEL light lit.

 

I don't remember the code, but it said it was the clutch position sensor. Sometimes the cruise works with the CEL light on and sometimes it doesn't work with it off also...

 

The actual code number needs to be posted. Descriptions alone are generally of the generic kind and can sometimes be misleading.

Based on your 1st post, you've got other problem(s) than a CPS.
