codes on 2006 hhr with psteering error code

Heard from mechanic at 5:30.

He teplaced a fuse fir the dasboard and was able to pull three codes.

P0013
P0014

Are these the same as for the later models in the above sticky?

I.E. cmp sensor/cmp performance?

Also
pulled
U0101. He says this is failure to communicate with transmission control module.
Thoughts?

I did ask him to start with the battery both on Friday and in a follow up call this morning. He did not do so. I told him this evening that ya'll
Said that it ewally could be part of the problem. He did not seem convinced.

Shall I go in the morning and put one in?

The codes soun bad. Can you tell me more?

Thank yiu

I have just posted in your other post about my 06 HHR with a U0101 code. I had to replace the TCM trans control mod. $156.00 with tax, 1/2hr labor for reprogram of new mod.

I'll bet that if you go to your local Salvage Yard, you can get it in hand for around that $55 Ebay bid. Seems to be an incredibly popular GM item, just about every GM model with a 4 or 6 built in the 21st century.

the P0013 & P0014 codes are covered under this posting - https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-tutorial-library-21/camshaft-position-actuator-solenoid-valve-replacement-w-pics-p0010-11-p0013-14-a-28779/

the symptoms are CEL on - codes P0010/11/13/14 - hard shifting of the tranny.

For the latest scoop, skip to the end and backtrack a few pages for the latest part numbers: ie:
https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...=28779&page=14 (see recap about half way down the page)

Note: the error codes refer to the Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoids (not to be confused with "sensors").
