You're not just driving south all the time?

I actually had this happen. In the owners manual there is a section telling how to reset the "location". I unplugged the mirror, plugged it back in and then set my area on it and it worked fine from then on.

At first I figured that my magnetic personality was throwing the compass readings off. I figured that there was some way to reset it. I just have to check the owners manual now. Thanks.

Hold the on/off button to get into zone programming.

If I remember right, once you do that, you need to drive in circles until it picks up again.

Thanks to all-I reset it and drove in several circles in my local supermarket parking lot (people there must have thought I was crazy) and now it seems to be working again.

I wonder if you have to drive counter-clockwise for folks north of the equator? That could throw off the entire world's magnetic field!

Suppose we all do it at the same time, does that affect the space/time continuum? Can we go back in time?
