Just being facetious....I've seen 'the shmoo' on the site since then (on tends to remeber a name and avatar like those). I'm sure if he hadn't solved whatever he was trying to solve back then, we would have heard.

 

Update. Disconnecting the battery worked. Reset remote start and alarm system, and it didn't take 2 years.
