Question Condensation on windshield at night.

Anybody else get this? Happens in summer, at night. The outside of he windshield gets covered with dew, and I have to run the wipers. Was just wondering what causes it.

Seriously?

When it starts forming on the INSIDE of the windshield, then come back and post the question.

tha dew point or you're not watching the movie at the drive in are you?? Warm outside air temperature and cooler inside temp of the car will cause this when you have the A/C on during the day come home and turn off the HHR

The girlfriend didn't believe me, so I told her I would post the question before she takes it in to get it checked ! Stupid, I know.

A little trick from "The Land of Opressive Humidity", crank the knob to the defroster setting, then change the temp from Cold to Hot for a minute. That'll put enough heat in the glass to stop the external condensation, then flip back to the A/C setting with cold air, you're good to go.
