I am trying to find out if the control arms are covered under any gm warranties

 

Unless you purchased an extended warranty, coverage of the control arms would have ended with the expiration of your original 3/36 bumper to bumper new vehicle warranty.

They aren't covered under the 5/100 powertrain warranty, covered parts can be found listed here.....
