The water pump is inside the engine in a 2.2L.

I'll go with the heater core.

 

Not exactly inside the engine, but you do need a special tool and you do need to remove the t-stat housing and pipe.

I have seen the tool on Ebay for <$30. It holds the sprocket in place, so you don't have to replace the timing chain.
