Cooling problems/ a/c

Ok so my cooling fan isn't running and my a/c isn't blowing cold and I'm almost positive that they are linked. It's not a relay as far as I can tell and all fuses are good. I'm thinking it could be a dirty connection to the high pressure sensor for the a/c causing it. Any help with this would be great.
Also I can't find the pressure sensor

What year/model.
Does the radiator fan run when the engine temp gets over 219F? Are you expecting the fan to run constantly? Why do you think there is a link?

Its a 2008 Lt hhr I haven't let it get that hot only to 212 and I shut it down being that water boils at 212 ° normal operating temperature should it not be at about 195° ? I think it's linked because the fan doesn't even come on when a/c is on and compressor starts then shuts down much like it's getting hot and a/c pressure rises till switch shuts a/c down. I've heard that a pressure sensor will cause this and also temp sending unit can also cause it. But right now I'm kinda lost. My scanner tells me it's in the low 200's 201-213 or so at what temp is it designed to turn on ?

Welcome to the site, any CEL light if so any codes?
How old is the coolant, how old is the thermostat?
have you checked any fuses or relays?

You are getting some really crazy info.

Under normal operation the fan should turn on at 219F until it gets down to 180F. Water does not boil at 212F under pressure.
Is the CheckEngineLight on?
The fan should come on IF the A/C compressor is running.
If the engine does not get up to 180F fast enough the A/C will not run, usually that will cause a CEL.
If the compressor comes on then stops you should be finding somebody that works on A/C to fix it.

But what does the car's info say on the dash ? (you do know there is a digital temp gauge in the info center on the dash ?) And I don't mean the analog gauge.

As far as the AC issue, could be any number of things. I've worked on many automotive AC's over the years. From your description it sounds like maybe you're not very knowledgeable with the AC system. Best to take this one to a pro.
