I have no readout on the info center just --- and no gauge. However the fan is working just fine and the car hasn't overheated. Any ideas what is wrong?

I bet you have a code, P0128
change the thermostat, install an AC Delco 131-158 180 degree thermostat, other brands don’t open in sync with the computer and cause the same problem. I suggest you change coolant also , Dexcool 50/50 mix, only!
