What's the issue? You can't turn the bolt, or you can't keep the pulley from turning with it?

No problem securing the pulley.. Tried a 5' long pipe on my ratchet... Dang thing wont budge... Heat or impact next... Hellp!

Mine came off with no holder just air impact, mine is not an expensive one. I imagine an electric impact gun would do it.

Both videos indicate that it's a standard right-hand thread bolt. CCW off, CW on. Haynes doesn't mention left-hand thread.

Took a minute... yes lefty loosey righty tighty

She wont budge and turn ccw for me.. I tried blast lube on her? ( thats what she said )

It must have been off before and somebody put locktite red on it. You need heat for that.

Gave up on the crank bolt removal.. Noticed my oil really wasnt coming from the crank seal... Torqued down the bolts of the timing chain cover just a hair and no more leak now 3 days out... So, it was the timing cover after all... Just an update, I know how you guys worry about me and my HHR - thanks guys..
