Creaking from brakes

I could see this being a (my) problem. I checked at some parts stores and it looks like the pins and such are pretty cheap to replace which makes your solution even better. If the pins were to get stuck and I were to replace them, what type of lube would I use for them? Some sort of lithium grease or something?

I bought a Pin kit and they came with grease.. I never checked to see what type it was.

Oh OK. Well, thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll try the pin kit and then the brake pads. Or maybe just go ahead and do both at the same time since I'd be working with the calipers regardless.

I think the pins are not it and the pads are the issue but it will not hurt to change them first just to see if it is the issue.
