I thought you read the Owner Manual. They light up to prove they are working, after the engine starts they go out.

Is there power to the starter, how many volts? Should be always hot on the large red wire 12.7v; under 11v the starter motor won't run at all.
Do you hear any clicking while trying to start?

A brake problem won't keep the engine from cranking, nor will a CEL.

The brake light may be just that the parking brake is on.

The one I see with green is for the wipers.

You have 5 of the big gray relays. I would swap 14(rear defogger) and 51(run/crank). See what happens. If that doesn't work, swap 50(cooling fan) and 34(starting system). If this fixes it, put the relay from 14 back in for the cooling fan (you'll want that to work, who cares about the rear defogger). Then you can get a new relay for the defogger at your convenience.

Relays cannot be installed backwards, the pins are idiot proof.

If you live in Calgary in January you probably care about the rear defroster. We do call it "The Great White North".

He was here yesterday, just didn’t post anything.

Today’s high in Calgary is 46F , Great but not necessarily White North. The jet stream has moved up .

Hello,
I checked the fuses and relays With a multimeter and a 9 V battery for the relays,
cleaned electrical connections with Electrical contact cleaner, Checked the run, crank relay location on the fuse box with a light
tester, there is power, used a jumper wire from 30 to 87 had my son turn ignition on and heard a very low starter sound,
the only codes I got off of the code reader was P1516, C0267, and U2107,I cleaned the throttle body with CRC Throttle body Kleen, tried to start and dash lights came on but no start,
im looking for a replacement fuse box but it has to be from a 2006 only and am waiting to hear from a wrecker Monday to see if they can find one thinking maybe I can get a used one shipped to me?
when I went to the side fuse box on the passenger side found a bundle of extra wire spliced into a red power wire I’m thinking, the previous owner had plug ins for a phone maybe a Garmin maps, and something else, strated tracking them down and found two more spliced wires under the hood,
today I’m going to check the starter connections I did change it in -47* weather make sure everything is as it should be double check for cleanliness of connections, and hopefully pull the top half of the fuse box off and see if there’s noticeable damage.I’ll try and send a picture of the inside fuse box location .
it’s been a busy week so far 🤨

Those extra wires could have been for an alarm or remote start from the aftermarket, or an aftermarket radio.
best to trace them down and eliminate them, reconnect the factory wires , tedious but doable
