Dashboard compartment lid not correct

I have to lift on the lid after pressing the button to get it to open. After searching the forums I have determined that the 2 rubber nipples are missing that make it work correctly. I can place foam there and it works ok then but the foam is not a good solution. I found reference to search the forums as a member named Snoopy posted a solution. I have not been able to find that. I also read that you cannot buy just the nipples

Anyone know where this post is or another way to get just the nipples or any other solutions?

Attaching two screw caps like used on licence frame can work.

You can buy the rubber bumpers over the counter at your dealership, they are GM PN 19180975 (BUMPER. Instrument Panel Compartment Door) List $3.67ea.

You can also Google the part number, GM Parts Giant usually has them, also Rock Auto.

Great thanks! Didn't find them on Rock Auto and parts giant was $5 for the parts and $12 for shipping. Will stop by my dealer tomorrow... they are about 2 blocks away!

It worked out that the dealer supplied the rubber bumpers under warranty along with a couple other minor issues. Nice, saved me a few $$$
