Exclamation DDM Tuning HIDs died at once!

I am so annoyed. I was at my son's soccer practice, coaching and all was well. We go to head home when its twilight almost dark out... I turn the car on and think - wtf? i cant see!!! head home with hazards on and make it back safely... We look through the fuses, all are well. I have a feeling its NOT the headlights but something else, i can't imagine 2 going bad, thats just so weird... I talked to my neighbor and hes a certified mechanic and loves aftermarket stuff and he is saying this happens. Anyone seen that before???

No experience myself, but just based on the experiences of some members here....

1. Check all connections
2. Check grounds
3. Check Fuses
4. Check ballasts/bulbs
5. Call the manufacturer's tech line.

Yea I am going to check it out after work. I didn't have the patience or light to work with last night. Thanks, i honestly didnt think to call their tech line. I bought it from China, i can't imagine it will be very helpful lol

Being that you lost everything, it sounds like a ground issue, but I've never personally tinkered with an aftermarket HID setup.

Have you resolved the issue? I started a thread about this yesterday in the problems/service/repair forum. My DDM had a bad connection on the power terminal under the hood and when I hit a bump the whole car would shut down.
