Dead Gauges

Is there a specific fuse that controls the gauge clusters/Driver information display? The other night on my way home from the gym I turned good old Gregg on and noticed that all of the gauges were flat lined as well as no display on the Driver Information Center. I pulled into my driveway and popped the hood, pushed all fuses/relays down, then did the same with the inside fuse panel. Also, I removed a fuse that I think was labeled as "gauge cluster" or something to that effect, checked it, then pushed it back in. Low and behold, the issue hasn't popped up again, nor has it ever happened prior to that. Also, there were absolutely no drive-ability issues whatsoever. This also happened at night, and the gauges were all back lit and even the turn signal lights worked. Has this happened to anyone else before? I read about others having issues with gauges going "crazy" or what have you, but nothing like this. Thanks for any input you guys might have!

Fuses have been known to work loose.

donbrew that is the fuse I pulled and put back in. I am hoping that was the issue. Having them wiggle loose isn't out of the question because I have a 37 mile commute 5 days a week each way and I do have some bumpy roads I travel on! Hopefully it stays in place for now! WIGGLE WIGGLE WIGGLE

I'd suggest that you have a slight problem with the underhood fuse box separating......not the fuse coming loose.

Wouldn't that cause more functionality issues than the gauges being dead though?

I'd still check the box! It can cause mysterious things to happen!

Quick update to old problem, Since that night I haven't had the problem again all I did was pull and re seat the fuse on the passenger side for the gauges. In case someone a year from now was looking for a solution and didnt notice the solution in the first post LOL
