To The Dealer!

Well, I took it to the dealer again...yes, I know I'm nitpicking things, but hey...gotta get things fixed before I run out of warranty! Just before I left for Florida I had the low brake fluid light come on again, so I ran up to the Buick GMC dealer in town before class, showed them, but couldn't leave it since I had to leave for school, and they didn't have a loaner car available...but they confirmed it did it, and I was on my way.

Well finally I had time to go back and got my name put on a waiting list for a car. I also told them about the rattle under the dash, or maybe in the door, can't really tell for sure...but it sounds like metal vibrating, so it's a different sound...

Anyways, they called today, so I ran up there and will leave it. He didn't say how long it'll take but they're about to close, so I would guess I should get it back tomorrow. My loaner is a white 2008 Grand Prix. Must say, nice car! Very sporty feeling, and very big! I've never driven one before, but when my mom was looking at them to buy one I didn't care for it...well I do like it! I'll just have to be extra careful driving to school tomorrow...it says there's a $1,000 deductible for accidents!

Oh no, I'm 99.999% sure it's the brake fluid reservoir. There's a TSB for it on the '06s, and mine has all of the symptoms... I took the TSB in for the guy to look at and he attached it to the service sheet. It only comes on when you first start the car on really cold days, when you push the brake pedal down the first few times. I had to take it in to show them right away since it's warming up it isn't doing it now, and I didn't have the car out all winter or I would have done it sooner. That's why I took it there a few weeks ago was so they could see it was doing it for themselves while it was.

Hopefully they'll replace what needs to...I won't know if it works or not until the next time it's really cold...which it probably won't be that cold again until this winter...

He said the part should be in either tomorrow or Saturday, so I should be good! Now I just got to get my tires and I'll be all set!

Ha ha, this time I looked really good, and couldn't find anything!

As for tires, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get P215/50/17r, what the stock would be for that rim... Not sure what brand tire or anything, my dad is going to help in that area.
