Oh, got the car back... They said they ordered the part and will call me when it comes, in which may be tomorrow or Saturday. Don't know why they didn't just keep the car until then since I'll be busy, and if they don't have a loaner waiting for me I won't be able to bring it in until late Monday at the earliest...

Oh and the rattle? They didn't mention anything about it. I'll have to ask when I take it back in I guess....

 

Bet you thought someone would forget the flash light incident Hope they find it for you...nothing quite as irritating as an unknown rattle. Coming from a Saturn completely made of plastic, the entire friggin car rattled. Guess I just got used to it

 

Got the car back today. New brake fluid reservoir installed, and the knee bolster plate was missing some screws, which was rattling. They must not have put all the bolts in at the other dealer when the column was replaced.

I didn't want to give my loaner car back again... It was another '08 Grand Prix, but this time it was black and super clean! I ended up putting 200 miles on it in two days!
