Dealer Recommendation in Central NJ?

I've had my HHR SS for 3 months. The car is awesome! But the dealer we've bought our last 3 Chevys from, Laffin Chevrolet in South River, went belly up 3 weeks ago. They were a great dealership....like family, and now they're gone. My wife and I have the new HHR SS and 2 year old Cobalt SS with extended warranties, and I'd like to find a Chevy dealer in the Central Jersey area that I can trust for honest and competent service.
Can anyone recommend a dealer for good service?
John

I bought my HHR at Richard Lucas Chevrolet on Route 1 in Avenel. They seems like a reputable outfit but my experience with them is limited. I have only been to the Service Department once and they fixed a wiring harness problem. A dealer on your side of the Raritan River would probably suit you better from a logistical standpoint - you know how bad the traffic on Route 1 can be.

I've heard some good things about Malouf in South Brunswick, plus they've been there for quite a while (I remeber looking at a Syclone there in '91). It's a real shame about Laffin--I'm not sure when they started, but it probably had to be 30-40 years. My grandfather was Ray Laffin's best man or vice-versa some sixty years ago.

I had my SS serviced at Malouf, and I'd say it was so so. There's a thread about it lower down. Basically, after the car was towed there and sat overnight, they couldn't replicate the problem, so their diagnosis was that nothing was wrong. When I picked it up, the service manager told me that three different guys drove it, and put about 15 miles on the car. The difference in miles on the invoice was three miles; 6437 in 6440 out. Then to top it all off, I didn't even make it three miles down the road before the problem popped up and all the lights cames back on. I went back immediately, where they took the codes, but couldn't offer to keep the car to repair it and give me a loaner. So I left with the car, with an intermittant electrical problem, which left me stranded a few more times before I could leave it with them the following Wednesday, when it was finally fixed.
