Difficulty Starting
Difficulty Starting
Forgive my dredging up of an old thread but did you find a fix? I'm going through the same problem; try to start, keeps cranking after the key is turned off, actually starts on the 2nd (or more) try. The diagnostics keep telling me "Bank 2 Lean" and suggesting the replacement of O2 sensors, which I've already done.
I'm at the point that I'm ready to order injectors, fuel rail, and probably a fuel pump, too, just to shotgun the system in hope of a fix.

As far as the won't start. Sure sounds like a fuel pump. Do a pressure test on the fuel rail.
I moved your post into its own thread, you're more likely to get responses than tacking onto a thread from 2011.
As whopper pointed out, we need to see what code/codes it's setting, otherwise...we're guessing.
One quick and dirty check that may give you an idea of the fuel pump's health is to give it a listen. Recruit a helper to turn the ignition to "Run" while you listen at the filler neck, the fuel pump should start and run with a steady hum, if it falters or hesitates, it might be the culprit.
George is on track with a check on the fuel pressure, but getting the codes is also paramount in aiding your diagnostics.

A) the starter will run for a short time until the motor starts. You only have to hit the key once then let go, not like old fashioned cars that you had to hold in start.
B) HO2 bank 2 lean points at an exhaust leak, probably of the flex pipe kind.
C) check the fuel pressure at the rail, possibly bad fuel pump, or purge system.

Nuking the system with Chevron fuel system cleaner (not injector cleaner) is worth a shot.
