dimmer switch ?

I don't know how GM wired this but I would use the one relay to turn the lights on and the second to switch either high or low beam so one or the other is on and the change is instantaneous. Sounds like it's set up with one to turn on the high beam and the other to turn on the low beam and there is a delay to switch over.

Push/pull same difference. Thanks for keeping me honest.

Well maybe not.......... when pulling the stalk for flashing there is no blackout period.

I had an '86 Chevy truck that would randomly turn off all the lights when I hit the high beam switch.... They would stay off too. What are you guys worried about.
