Door Lock

The drivers side door lock on my SS didn't always want to lock or unlock (key fob or button inside) so I took it in and the replaced the actuator. Well this morning it didn't unlock for me and didn't unlock/lock all the way to work (I was playing with it). Anyone else having this problem?

I am getting a little frustrated with it because this is the second part in the car in less than two months... could it be something other than the actuator?

maybe a bent rod from the actuator to the door lock. Another possible is rod getting caught on something ie door panel so it stops it from getting lock/unlock.

That actually happened to me when I installed the stubby locks. Had some adhesive run down the rod and stick to the inside of door, needed to open the door panel to get it undone.

exactly my story. i installed the smoothie lock knobs, and now i have this issue from time to time. i figured the adhesive would be the issue, so i just need to take the time to take the door panel off and take care of it.

I would hope if that was the case, they would have seen that when they replaced it... I may just call them tomorrow and see what they think. I am tired of taking my car in though.
