#11 is vacant. Waiting on the tpm sensors to arrive before I can go any further. Read somewhere here about putting the sensors in a pvc pipe and throwing it in the trunk. Can't find the thread that describes doing that.

I’ve read many articles on the web about tricking the TPMS system, just google it. I don’t know if it will actually work.

Got the new sensors in yesterday. Installed them today. Tried the relearn procedure in the manual. It entered the relearn. Horn sounded twice and signal light came on. Tried both adding pressure and decreasing. Still nothing. It exited the procedure. Tried it 3 times and gave up. Still have the - - on each wheel. Dealer charge for the TSB reflash costly? Should I take a copy of it with me?

Way out of warranty. They will probably want 1 hour labor. Yes, take it in they won't know how to do it without instructions.

Well. Just don't know if it's worth $200 for a car to tell me if my tire is low. I need struts worse right now. Hate dash lights on but gotta go with priorities.

My local Chevy dealer programs my tpm’s for free, takes maybe 2 minutes.

Not the same thing. We are talking about loading new firmware onto the RCDLR. Anyone who can read the Owner Manual can relearn the TPM positions (2010-2011 needs a $10 tool).

What I can't understand is, if everything else is working that the RCDL controls, why not the TPMS? Took it by a big local tire shop today and they gave me some story that they have to know the brand of sensors and have to program the new ones before putting them in the tires. Pretty much they couldn't do anything but Schrader. Lol.
