A bad lift is only 1 way to bend the running board. Jumping a curb, road debris, etc. Could have gotten bent upwards any numerous ways. Don't be so quick to "blame the dealership".

If your winter has been like ours, you might have driven over a ridge of snow or had snow build up behind the front wheel that fell off and caught under the running board.

going to dealership on monday for some work and the service manager will be there to look at my rust problems on the bottom of each door..so i hope the 5 yr or 100,000km or whatever it is will cover this, but they say it will only cover if it rusts through aka a hole in my door, which is ridiculous..like id let that happen! lol so hopefuly they will agree to fix it under this or at least under "goodwill warranty".
anything that i should say/tell them to be more persuasive on the issue?

I only found one dealer that would repair rust, and that was only under the 3yr bumper to bumper warranty. After that only rust-through holes are covered.
I would think carefully about getting it fixed though, as most places will just grind off rust and repaint. Any areas done will be covered in rust after a year or so. If its just a couple bubbles right now I would leave it, exposing more metal could make it worse.

Every door is bubbling and some of the paint is flaking off showing the rusted metal, but it has moved to the outside of the door..that's what frustrates me, its getting worse. We'll see what happens considering all of my family have purchased cars from this dealership so hopefuly so good faith will show thru here
