Dorman programmable key fob

I have a 2010 LT w/2.2L... I purchased from e-bay and installation went great. I know get low battery in fob on dash after three days. New battery in and same thing again, low key fob battery. Another issue is that the car feels like something is holding it back ( power wire ) when driving. I have no CEL showing up and now wondering if I should of had dealership install/program this key fob.

Contact the seller of the key fob for a replacement - sounds like you got a dud.

The fob shouldn't have anything to do with the poor running of the car. There might be some pending codes - I'd check with a code reader and see if there is anything there.

When was the last time it was maintained: plugs, air filter, oil/filter etc.?

Will check pending codes tonight on way home. Plugs where changed back in Feb. 2016, just changed the air filter and cabin filter about a month ago and its about time for oil change.

Just changed the air filter? Please inspect your MAF sensor connection.
