So I have a P0302 cylinder 2 misfire code that I can't get rid of on a 2008 HHR 2.2 with 160K

I've changed all the sparkplugs, fuel injectors, and swapped around the coils. About to check the compression. Could it be something with the cylinder head?

Any other ideas besides being thankful that I have had the 160K?

If the compression is much lower in one cylinder you have a burned valve or valves, its a known issue with Ecotec. The head needs to be removed, replace the burnt valve(s) and all valves should be checked and valve job performed. Expect to pay $1000+

 

Yes I would do a compression test on all four cylinders. If compression is good carbon build up on the valves has been known to cause misfires also.
