First off I know I have big feet and I sometimes glide it across the door seal. But for the life of me I cannot see how this seal is pulling up so bad. Since I noticed I was hitting it with my foot I have been very careful getting into and out of the car. So my question is this, should I take it in for repair of the door seal. Or does anyone on here know of a protector I can buy to go over the seal so when I go in and out of the car I am not hitting the door seal??

I'm guessing that you still have warrenty, right? If so then take it to the dealer and get it fixed first. Then find a cover if you can to protect it in the future.

 

Welcome , gee, I haven't noticed. I'll have to look at that the next time I get in. Mine have the boards and notice I seem to lift my feet to clear that.
Just went and looked. You would really have to catch your foot on it and then drag it upwards which it sounds like you are not doing. Seems like on the last couple of trucks (full size pick ups) there was no seal at the bottom of the door opening, rather there was a seal attached to to bottom of the door itself.
