Drivers power door lock question

My question is on my 09 HHR SS my drivers door lock switch doesn't light up but the one on my passanger door does. Is that normal or is the light in the switch blown I don't remember if it ever lit up.

I have my window switches on the door. And the door lock switch is on the door right in front of the handle. There is a door lock switch on both front doors. The passanger one is back lit at night but my drivers one isn't. I'm not sure if they do this on purpose or if the light in the switch is burnt out. I was hoping someone else with an 09 5 spd SS could tell me if there's is lit up or not before I go to the dealer to complain.
