Electrical Issues , 2008 Lt

Hello,

My car got hit by a truck on the passeger side 3 weeks ago, tearing down the front cover and fog lights. At first, the garage guy told me it will b a matter of changing the cover and that would be it, however, i ran into the following issues after they "fixed" my car:

1: The engine seems to tremble a lot
2: There's s strange noise coming from the engine
3: There's no light inside the cabibn, except for the stereo and the tacometer, gas level and speedometer.
4: Also, there's no light in the shifter, "the light from above" , steering wheel and the light from behind, they only work when i press the break pedal or i press the "emergency lights"
5: I cannot dim the lights, the button doesn't work

I did not have any of these issues with my car before the crash, and the engine is almosgt new ( 4,000 miles)

They checked the fuse box and told me it was ok, any ideas what may be causing this malfunction??? I would certainly appreciate some advise.

Thanks!

From what you state, it seems you have lost the ground for your lighting. I believe there is a ground strap on the front cover brace. The engine noise will need more explanation.
