Electrical issues.
I have done a lot of work to my 2008 Chevy HHR Lt. It first that for 3 years and I pretty much had to resurrect it. Now I am having ESC and also traction control light come on on dash. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Let me guess. Check Engine Light on also ? If so, then that’s usually the cause of the the ESC and TC lights. Those lights mean the computer has turned those systems off.
You labeled this as electrical issues. Don’t see that.

OBD2 scanners are less than $20. Check Amazon, Ebay, Harbor Freight etc.
ESC and Traction Control ONLY, no CEL? Probably a loose connector.
If this is a 2.4L might be failing VVT valves.
Have you got any where near the EBCM? The connectors on it sometimes are loose.
If you changed modules, check the pins in the connectors, they sometimes get pushed out the back of the connector instead of going into the holes.
Could be a loose timing chain.
If it sat for 3 years, varmint damage is a real probability.
Was the Crankshaft Sensor relearned after the ECM was replaced?
TCMs and ECMs don't break on their own, what happened to them ?
