Eng light/ Throwing (P0107) code solution.
06, Ls Hhr,
Out of know where I suddenly get this check eng light, I follow a bunch of advice from the forum, that I might ad was very helpful but still did not rectify the problem but here is what I found.
- (P0107) code is the "Manifold Absolute Pressure/ low voltage code.
- So I checked for the 5vlts of power needed at the M.A.P lead wire which on the 2006 is the Grey wire, there was no voltage at all.
- I traced wire thru the harness down towards the alternator to the main eng harness, there is a large 8 pin plug that sits just to the right of the alternator Unplugged it & immediately saw 7 pins sticking up & 1 broken, guess which one was broke. CORRECT: the grey one, opened connector replaced broken pin whith on purchased from your local part store $4.00 bucks for a pack of 5.
- Re-connected & started engine & yes it still thru the code but once I connected my OBD-ll scanner & cleared the code, ENG light went off & stayed off.
Thought I would just share, being it that I have received so much advice from the forum.
F.Y.I- this took me under an hr. At night outside. Even a non mechanical type individuals can do this.
Hope this helps,someone.

Hey - good job. I update the original "no start" thread with a link to this thread as the solution to your P0107 code.
Thanks for posting and giving all the details - that no doubt will help someone down the road.
Thanks again.
