Just got in my 08 hhr from work. Check engine light is now on with engine power reduced. What would cause this. Car been running great? Thanks any help.

Seriously though. You will need to have the codes read to determine what has set off the Check Engine Light(CEL) and reduced power.
Post up the code number(s)here, not just a description. The code numbers should look like this. ex: P0001, P0002.
Most major auto parts stores will scan and read your codes for free.

Post up the code numbers and the good members here will be glad to try and help out.
