Probally drove it that far to make sure the problem didn't happen again. i know of no mechanic that would want to drive that far to test, they would rather be making money, so it probally was a service advisor checking it out.

 

Observation............

When the "Service Engine" diagnostic was being displayed on my DIC, the code indicated a misfire, which turned out to be a fuel injector issue as well.

My remote starter would not function while the diagnostic message was active.

Everything fine now for the last 10,000 miles.

I have contacted all other chevrolet dealers in my area and they think that 100 miles is too far for a "test" drive. I have just under 10,000 miles on my HHR and would not trade it for the world, even with the injector problem I had. I love my car, it is finally paid for, and I have to say, it is everything I had always wanted.
