The other day I was driving my 09 hhr ss and I just suddenly lost engine power. Also, on my dash a message saying "engine power reduced" appeared with a "check ECM" message. Have any of ya'll encountered this before ? if so i would love some advice please.

 

Check engine light on? Get the codes read and post the numbers here.

 

Sure that wasn't "ESC not ready" or "Service ESC" or something with ESC not ECM?
Anyway there should be some OBD code and probably a CEL.

 

X2 what Donbrew said. There is no "check ECM" in the list of warnings.

Have the codes pulled.
