Take Geoff up on this , Treble Hook your ride is 8 years old but under 80,000 miles you might get this under full warrenty

I think I'm having this problem now. Noticed it really bad tonight while waiting in the drive thru. I have an 06 LS with 57k miles. I assume there's no chance they'll cover it under warranty but I'll mention it when I go in for service in a couple weeks.

At a GM dealership, they most likely will not cut the down pipe and weld in the new flexpipe as that is considered modifications to the catalytic converter

Had the exact same rattle, and it turned out to be just the resonator which cost $225 to fix.

His was flex pipe, not exactly the same as the resonator, but cost for parts and labour about the same
