I was driving down the interstate and my battery light came on. Needing to be some place I continued driving and then the a/c blower starting getting weak then quit. Quickly after that the radio quit working and finally the car died and the battery was dead. The serpintine belt is in tack and I am suspecting the alternator failed and I ran the battery completly down. Anyone have any extra insight?

 

OR, the battery failed.

But the engine runs on alternator power, if available. The battery will need a charge before the system is tested.
