First problem is w/ Onstar System

the right red light on the onstar panel was on. i pushed the onstar button and they kept hanging up on me. Man i was getting angry

So i called on the phone and come to find out they can't hear me through the system. Hopefully its nothing to serious

I had a problem like that, and the cable had worked itself loose from the receiver unit. Take it by the dealer and let them diagnose the problem (if it's still under warranty).

update

I got it in when the problem was occuring, something was wrong with the microphone in the mirror.

The new part came in today, and will be installed thursday.

well they put the part in, didnt work

now they are ordering a VCM they said. Voice control module.

will take a week

Solved- I hope

Actually it was something almost similiar

they replaced the mic, then the VCM today.
the problem was still occurring

it was actually the terminal end that needed to be replaced
he was getting the proper voltage, then all of a sudden after checking it a dozen times, it lost voltage.

the terminal end was on the module, but was losing contact.

So hopefully it will be all set now
